- After reading some earlier postings and seeing my batteries run down
- fast with a lot of RS232 transfers I decided to try a quick fix and
- bought the Radio Shack 273-1455 adapter for $7.95. This adapter (now
- called 273-1455C C for made in China ? :-) ) actually generates 11.5
- volts DC which drops to 11 volts with a 20 milliamp load. I think
- this may be too high because when I used it yeaterday for about 4s
- hours the clock in the 95 gained several minutes. It also made the 95
- very slightly warm. Normaly on batteries my 95 keeps time to within
- about 1 second per day.
-
- Has anyone measured the actual voltage developed by a real HP AC
- adaptor?. I think I will buy one, at least I will have a legitimate
- complaint if it still gains using the proper adaptor..
