  13. My experience seems to be that the hp95 has hysterisis so that once the
  14. low battery warning comes on, it won't go away  until the battery
  15. voltage goes above some higher (2.7 volts?) threshold.  Nicads don't
  16. put out enough voltage to push the hp95 over the top.  If I leave
  17. nicads in the machine long enough to get the low-voltage warning, I
  18. need to put regular batteries in first to turn off the voltage warning,
  19. and then I can switch to Nicads.
