- I am sorry for the last posting by me I did something wrong!?
-
- I have not tried to extend the memory in an OZ8000 but I have the technical
- service paper. According to this there are two different PCBs one for the
- OZ8200 and one for the OZ8000. But in the outline of the PCB two extra RAM
- ICs are added with luck there might be preparations for extra RAM?

- 1. Backup battery
- 2. Main Battery
- 3. RAM for OZ8200
- 4. RAM for OZ8000 and OZ8200
- 5. RAM for OZ8000 and OZ8200
- 6. RAM for OZ8200
- 7. CPU
- 8. ??? called GA2 IC no LZ93A61
- 9. ??? called GA1 IC no LZ93B69
- 10 4M ROM
- 11 Real time clock (RTC)
-
- Now given that you can use the same PCB you will have to add two extra RAM
- IC:s. In the figure above that would be 3 and 6. The RAM IC used has 32K each
- and the IC number is 6256LF1XSL.
-
- I hope that this information is useful for you in some way.
