- I just tried to do the following:

- bind ip to ne3200 addr=192.233.25.15 mask=255.255.255.192

- Well, it complained something about not being able to have all 1's or 0's in
- for a host address or something like that. I checked the tcpip guide for
- Netware 3.11 and it talked plenty about using class A and B subnets but
- suspiciously didn't include class C subnets in it's explanation. Going through
- some old mail leads me to believe that I won't be able to do this. I
- thought I remembered that you just couldn't have two interfaces in a 3.11
- server and be able to use subnetting or something like that.
- If I can't do this, why? What's the difference in terms of writing
- TCPIP.NLM as far as class A & B vs. C subnets go? Also, what are other people
- doing who need to put there 3.11 servers on a tcpip net that uses class C
- subnetting? I could always try to ask the NIC for a whole class C
- address for each different net that I want to have a 3.11 server tcpip
- reachable on and get rid of my subnet, but I don't think that's fair to the
- Internet community considering the crunch on addresses that we are all facing.
- Does anyone have any suggestions? Is my bind statement incorrect?
