- I just read that article and I agree that it is rather poorly worded (as far as
- the first sentence goes). Novell is not going to leave current NetWare For
- Macintosh (over AppleTalk) users out in the cold. Novell has a strong commit-
- ment to supporting existing and future NW4MAC (AppleTalk) customers.

- MacIPX is being distributed as an SDK (SoftWare Developers Kit) so Macintosh
- product developers can enjoy the same benefits of SPX/IPX as DOS/Windows develop
- ers do today. This product will in effect "elevate" the status of the Macintosh
- on NetWare networks. MacIPX does NOT reduce Novell's resolve to support
- NW4MAC (AppleTalk) customers (so there is no need to worry). Also, products
- that are developed with MacIPX can happily coexist with the standard AppleTalk
- utilities (similar to the way MacTCP and AppleShare can be used con-
- currently now).
