  13. Greetings to those assembled!

  15. I wish to tap the collected knowledge here.  I have a project that
  16. will require communication from Novell Netware client stations to 
  17. Unix servers as well as other Netware servers possibly/probably on
  18. another other 'domains.'  I would like to use streams or sockets to 
  19. accomplish this communication.  So, the client station application
  20. sends a 'message' the a server somewhere on the network and data is 
  21. returned via the same method.

  23. A. Can this be done? I have heard that Netware supports sockets and 
  24.    streams.

  26. B. What additional software must be purchased on each server/client?
  27.    Please don't tell me I must have NFS on every server...

  29. C. What software/libraries are needed to code/compile such a system?

  31. D. Is there a Freeware/commercial system that will do this messaging
  32.    already. (why reinvent the wheel?)

  34. This has gotten longer than I had planned and probably raises more 
  35. questions than I answered about what is needed.  If you have any ideas
  36. or pointers to examples or just what a more detailed description of what
  37. it is that I am trying to do, Please let me know.  Thanks...
