  28. I think what the original poster meant was to allow some way for the Mac
  29. to automatically choose the encryption method (or to save a previously 
  30. selected encryption method if possible),  so that for example volumes
  31. may be automatically mounted upon bootup of a client's machine, which as I
  32. understand things, cannot be done if one requires the use of the UAM.

  34. This is probably more a problem with how Apple set things up to allow
  35. alternate
  36. UAMs than with how NetWare for Macintosh utilizes these functions.
