- I think what the original poster meant was to allow some way for the Mac
- to automatically choose the encryption method (or to save a previously
- selected encryption method if possible), so that for example volumes
- may be automatically mounted upon bootup of a client's machine, which as I
- understand things, cannot be done if one requires the use of the UAM.

- This is probably more a problem with how Apple set things up to allow
- alternate
- UAMs than with how NetWare for Macintosh utilizes these functions.
