  18.     1) it's not card specific, sortof.  SMC cards still need SMc
  19. drivers and NE2000 cards will need NE2000 drivers.  But you don't need
  20. WSGEN.  All settings are done through NET.CFG
  21.     2) Novell supports it now.  Does not support packet drivers.
  22.     3) easier to update.  Four files are needed to connect to the
  23. server: LSL, card driver, IPXODI, NETX.  Update individual files from
  24. system login script with WSUPDATE.  Of course, NDIS just adds on top of
  25. this configuration.
  26.    4) smaller files make them easier to stuff into upper memory areas
  27.  
  28. Disadvantages:
  29.     1) slightly larger footprint (about 4K)
  30.  
  31. If you stay away from NETX 3.31 and use 3.26, you won't notice much in
  32. extra memory loss
