  18. By default, if your users don't have access to the DESKTOP files, they can't
  19. permanently modify the desktop.  This is the default created by NW4Mac when
  20. it's installed, so unless you have changed something, it shouldn't be a
  21. problem.  (I could be mistaken.)   My experience has been that users can
  22. change the desktop during a session, but when they log back in or re-mount
  23. the volume, they will find it in the state last created by a
  24. SUPERVISOR-equivalent user.
