- I am just brining up a server with a Seagate ST4702N and the Adaptec
- 1542B, and Install.nlm sees the drive only sometimes, though it usually
- boots fine under DOS. If I try "Format" and "Partition" under "Disk
- Options" one after the other, eventually, one will work. I've run the
- Adaptec DMA test and all 8 megs check out OK. Adaptec says try changing
- the slot, so I've got more work to do before I give up, but...
-
- Does everyone who posted have the 1542B?
