  15. I am new to the NeXT and would appreciate some help with the memory req
  16. of the NeXtStation...
  17. I am helping a friend set up his NeXT and niether of us now want we're
  18. doing ... he has Unix experience and I use a MAC (don't get started on that)
  19.  
  20. Anyway... He has 8Mb of memory and the machine is constantly and I mean
  21. constantly accessing the disk to do even the tiniest thing...he's run 
  22. version 2 of the system and would like to know how to get the most performance
  23. out of the machine as it is now.... he'll add memory later.... but is hoping
  24. that this disk frenzee can be stopped or at least lessened....
