- True enough! And Karl Kraft even wrote a nice little app to automate this
- for you (thanks a bunch Karl! :) but it also turns out that the basic things
- I wanted Scene for (to make it the default for .eps files, to print those
- same files, including hte "center" and "scale to fit" features) all seem to
- work just fine without the fix. I can do without the movies (though I miss
- gravity), but am glad to have a straightforward EPS viewer/printer which
- doesn't choke on every little non-standard file (including those made by
- modifying .ps files with BBFig) the way Preview does.
-
- So.... if all you want from Scene is the basics then just copy it from a
- 2.1 system. If you want the fancy features use the Icon fix or contact
- Karl (be aware that his "fix" means adding roughly 2 Mb to your system,
- since you have to include the old shared libraries).
-
- Will report if I encounter any untoward behavior in Scene, but it's been
- fine for the last couple weeks.
