  11. Has anyone else gotten this on the NeXT?  (I'm pretty sure Mark Adler said he
  12. did a while ago?)

  14. It compiles without errors on NS 3.0, but it does some odd things.  One, the
  15. lock file in /usr/spool/uucp/LCK doesn't always get deleted.  Next time
  16. kermit's run it says 'removing stale lock file' but do all apps (i.e. UUCP)
  17. do this?

  19. Two, what's wrong with this script:

  22. set baud 38400
  23. out ats0=1 [newline]
  24. in 3 OK
  25. quit

  27. (the syntax may be off, I'm doing this from memory, but the commands are
  28. basically right)

  30. All I want it to do is turn autoanswer on automatically.  It worked with an
  31. older version of kermit (182? 180?) and NeXTstep 2.1, but with the current
  32. setup (the older kermit does not work in 3.0 either) it just hangs at the
  33. 'quit' statement.  The ats0=1 went in there, because if I go into kermit and
  34. hit return, the autoanswer status comes up.
