  12. I'm doing a lot of OCR work with Macs and then transfering
  13. files to my Next to work on. 
  14. These files are in French and Italian (accent marks!).
  15. Now, I save the Mac files as ascii, WriteNow format and 
  16. rtf format, but NONE of these seem to retain the ACCENT
  17. marks correctly. The best I can do is save as Mac rtf, open the 
  18. rtf file with Next Edit, and then cut and paste into Next 
  19. WriteNow. I have tried Mac WriteNow 2.2 and 3.0.

  21. This is a bad situation, and if I can't correct it it 
  22. means I can't move files from Mac to Next, at least 
  23. without a hell of a lot of proofreading I shouldn't 
  24. have to do.

  26. I DO have MacTranslators (DataViz) so I am tempted to 
  27. save the Mac files in some DOS version before transferring
  28. them to the Next, but haven't yet tried.

  30. RTF on the Next seems proprietary!!! Does anyone know of 
  31. a fixit for this problem? It's crazy!
