  16. I've been using tip with my ZyXEL U-1496E for a couple weeks now and I have a  
  17. question.  Tip's UNIX to UNIX file transfer commands (~t and ~p I believe)  
  18. only seem to work with ASCII files.  If I want to transfer anything else with  
  19. them I have to uuencode it.  Am I missings something here, or is this just the  
  20. nature of the beast?

  22. Also is it possible to create an entry in my /etc/remote file that will  
  23. automatically log on to the dial-up system I use?  I know how to get it to  
  24. automatically CALL the system, but not how to get it to actually enter my user  
  25. name and password.
