  19. Well, I know what I did to get that to happen.  I added some options
  20. to loginwindow in the /etc/ttys file to set PowerOffDisabled True,
  21. precisely as recommended in the NeXT documentation.  It turns out
  22. that there is a line length limit in that file, which I exceeded, and
  23. loginwindow simply failed to run.  I removed the option (in single
  24. user mode), and it worked.

  26. I put the option in root's defaults instead, and that works far
  27. better.
