- Well, I know what I did to get that to happen. I added some options
- to loginwindow in the /etc/ttys file to set PowerOffDisabled True,
- precisely as recommended in the NeXT documentation. It turns out
- that there is a line length limit in that file, which I exceeded, and
- loginwindow simply failed to run. I removed the option (in single
- user mode), and it worked.
