  13. Running 2.x, gcc 1.36.

  15. I'm trying to compile the unix version of the archiving program 'arc',
  16. but not having any luck.  I can't seem to find any recent version of
  17. the arc package (that is, since NeXT came out).  
  18.  
  19. When I finally get it to build (lotsa hard coded extern rindex()), it
  20. keeps getting a bus error.  Before I start delving more into it, I'm
  21. wondering if anyone else has managed to get it to build successfully?

  23. If so, could you please send me patches, or perhaps the binary?

  25. I've looked on some archive sites, and I can find the binary for lharc,
  26. but not for arc.

  28. Any pointers suggestions would be appreciated.
