- I am finaling working with my 3.0 machine, and have run smack into
- a major problem; the functionality of Edit's Expansion Dictionary
- is seems to be null for me. I cannot get it to expand abbreviations,
- let alone creating fields within the expansion.
-
- The manual section seems to be incongruent with the presented options,
- namely the Expansion Dictionary Window is totally different than the
- window presented by the 3.0 App (verified with the CD-Rom version of
- Edit.app). Question: Does the Edit Expansion Dictionary work as advertised
- under 3.0, making me look at the rest of my environment (part 2.1, part
- 3.0), or is it flat broke?
-
-
- And another aside:
-
- Has anyone been able to put command-key equivs on
- User Pipe menu items via the documented method using
- pipedict? I have tried, and it seems to ignore
- them. Put the same line in .commanddict and it works
- with out a problem.
