- Can some kind knowledgeable soul please help me with the following problem:
- I am trying to port the STedi editor to the NeXT and part of this editor
- is that it can map any sequence of keys to any other sequence of keys.
- However internally the NeXT plays around with the alternate key and if
- I press Alternate-a it signifies an accent so it waits for a second key.
- In terminal this behaviour does not exist, so it must be possible to
- switch it off. How is this done? (I would like to be able to bind
- alternate-a to whatever command my mood inspires and have any user do
- so also).
- I have checked all my manuals (I have the developer docs) and have not
- been able to find a solution to this problem. Did I overlook something?
-
