  26. Yes you can listen to CDs thru NeXT speaker. You have to get a cable to connect
  27. the output of CD-ROM drive to NeXT microphone input at the back of the
  28. monitor. Then run CDPlayer (or CDAudio) and play the CD. Immediately after that
  29. type in the Terminal:
  30. record|play
  31. You can get the record and play commands from Gopher source on nova.cc.purdue.edu

  35. P.S. You lose some quality of the sound though... Therefore I prefer headphones.
