- Apparently one can do a pseudo-FTP to the Purdue archives using e-mail. Since I
- don't have FTP capabilities, I would like to do this.
-
- As far as I can get, is getting the help file, the index, and the index next.
- Now I have been trying to get the indexes for the separate next archives. I
- have tried every combination of command I can think of (e.g. index next
- graphics, index next/graphics, index pub/next/graphics, etc. etc.) and always
- get a "file not found" type reply.
-
- Several requests for assistance have been sent to the archive manager over the
- past couple of months, but to no reply. Therefore I am asking, generally, for
- assistance here.
-
- If someone can send me clear instructions on how to get an "index" to the
- contents of the various next archives at Purdue (sonata and/or nova?), and
- while you're at it maybe a note on how to then have specific files sent to me
- (pardon the ignorance, I ask in the event that what seems clearly written in
- the "help" file turns out to be not so obvious), I sure would appreciate it.
-
- Thank You,
