  41. That explains a problem that I had a couple of weeks ago; I didn't isolate  
  42. it as far as installing a new font (doing too many things at one time).

  44. The 3.0 cacheAFMdata and buildafmdir seem to be below par.  Try the 2.x 
  45. version.

  47. Another hangup from 3.0 with font installation is that it finishes with 256  
  48. fonts.
