- That explains a problem that I had a couple of weeks ago; I didn't isolate
- it as far as installing a new font (doing too many things at one time).

- The 3.0 cacheAFMdata and buildafmdir seem to be below par. Try the 2.x
- version.

- Another hangup from 3.0 with font installation is that it finishes with 256
- fonts.
