- Yes I agree it would have been the "right" thing for NeXT to include the
- scsi cable & term. BUT all product literature about the CD-Rom even
- including the dealer price list all state you need scsi cable & term. So
- possibly the person you ordered it from forgot to tell you. Also the Apple
- CD-Rom which is the same Sony product comes packaged the SAME way, no scsi
- cable no term.

- On a side note about the NeXT CD-Rom:
- Apple sells the Sony CD-Rom, The old model is called the 150, the new one
- is called the 300. From what I understand the big differance is the 150
- does single session photo-CD and the 300 does multi session photo-CD.
- After looking at the Sony part # my guess is the latest batch of CD-Roms
- NeXT just shipped are in fact the same ones Apple is using in the CD-300
- which means they should surport multi session photo-CD (the part #s were
- not the same but were very close to each other but not close to the
- CD-150)
