- Some people have been having difficulity getting PixelTime to run. If
- you are such an individual and are recieve an "sh:288 abort" or similar
- error in the Record of Progress window then you may not have the permissions
- set for public use on the /dev/cufa or /dev/cufb ports. You
- may use /dev/ttyfa, /dev/ttya or b if desired. The permissions should
- look like the following:
- crw-rw-rw- 1 uucp 11,192 Jul 30 14:50 /dev/cua
- crw-rw-rw- 1 uucp 11,193 Nov 29 14:53 /dev/cub
- crw-rw-rw- 1 uucp 11,224 Oct 9 19:04 /dev/cufa
- crw-rw-rw- 1 uucp 11,225 Dec 23 11:00 /dev/cufb
-
- I have also placed an updated version of PixelTime on the ftp archives
- which checks permissions on the device path set in preferences.
