- Do it! When I refeormatted my drive from 512 to 1024 byte sectors, I gained
- about 15% extra space and about 2x faster speed up (using the speedometer
- program). You will need the scsitools available on sonata (sense and one
- other). Be careful, as I irreparably damaged one drive by using the GUI
- version of the program without first saving the sense file.
