  11. I installed the 1.23GB HD, and found that it came with a device block
  12. size of 512Bytes. The original Seagate was formated with a 1024Bytes
  13. block size.

  15. Do you have any idea what the performance impact is? Should I try to
  16. reformat the disk to get a block size of 1024Bytes?

  19. How hard is to reformat the HD to set the block size to 1024, can I do it
  20. or is it a manufacturer's job?
