  31. I've likewise run 3.0 on '030 cubes; rumor hath it that there may be problems  
  32. with the serial ports, however. I cannot confirm this, as mine work fine. It  
  33. is, however, awfully slow.

  35. It is true that 25 mhz '040 boards have been discontinued, and that the 33 mhz  
  36. boards (Turbo, so called) are available only as service parts. They are very
  37. expensive, and neglibly faster, than the 25 mhz. Again, rumor hath it that a
  38. faster '040 board may be in the works.

  40. One option for your friend might be to buy a cheap Station and network it
  41. to his cube. Then he can have the best of both worlds. Write me for more info
  42. on the latter.
