- I've likewise run 3.0 on '030 cubes; rumor hath it that there may be problems
- with the serial ports, however. I cannot confirm this, as mine work fine. It
- is, however, awfully slow.

- It is true that 25 mhz '040 boards have been discontinued, and that the 33 mhz
- boards (Turbo, so called) are available only as service parts. They are very
- expensive, and neglibly faster, than the 25 mhz. Again, rumor hath it that a
- faster '040 board may be in the works.

- One option for your friend might be to buy a cheap Station and network it
- to his cube. Then he can have the best of both worlds. Write me for more info
- on the latter.
