- Since this seems to be one of the standard answers, I might as well fill
- in the blanks. I use whatever I have -- mostly "good-quality" disks
- (TDK, Maxell, Parrot, that lot) -- but the "quality" of the disks
- doesn't really seem to matter. What I do is I lug them around a lot.
- They're duly protected, in disk box && dust jacket, but admittedly they
- get a lot of abuse.

- I have loads of "indispensable" freeware utilities and most of my own
- work on these disks. Never really had any problem with losing any of it
- (I make frequent backups of everything I don't want to lose) but it can
- be really annoying when you need a copy of UnStuffit and the disk just
- won't work.
