- The problem with this is if some of your aliases are to items on remote volumes
- which you don't want to mount unless you need to. Or, for that matter, if you
- want aliases to things on various removable volumes, only one of which can be
- in the drive at once. Double-click on the alias (or drag-n-drop), and it pops
- up the handy "Please insert the disk..." dialog.

- Sadly, rebuilding the desktop doesn't seem to collect enough information
- currently to support aliases to objects on other volumes. Maybe in System 7.2?
