- CSI (Creative Solutions, Inc.) made an excellent FORTH for the Mac.
- It got extended all over the place, including OOP (Actors, not like
- Neon) and it was actually the first language I programmed in on the
- mac. (This was in `89 or so.) The only problems I had were in making
- standalone apps. I remember graphics and serial I/O being very easy.
- It wasn't too slow, either. It had inline assembly w/macros.

- Unfortunately, I have no idea if they are still around. I mean, I
- know CSI is, but I don't know if they support this product any longer.
- (They make NuBus cards now.) If they still support MacForth, I'd be
- interested in hearing upgrade info.
