- The topic of print drivers is a touchy one... right now Apple is very close to
- telling developers to simply not write them. The only reference I've ever heard
- of for them is a document called "Learning to Drive" from Apple, but I am not
- sure if it is still available. Unless you are a printer manufacturer (i.e.
- someone who MUST have a driver written) they will likely tell you to wait a few
- months, because there is a new print architecture on the way RSN that will
- require a whole stock of new drivers, and simplify things a great deal for
- application programmers. (so they say)
-
- If you absolutely have to get this doen now, try calling APDA for a catalog or
- to see what they have available. I suspect that you will not be very happy with
- the available documentation, but they might be able to help.
