- I think there are two different problems, one bug in the Sound Manager that
- occurs on several (all?) Macs. Many programs, especially games (which often
- have to keep a channel open for a long time) have this problem. In my own
- games, I have experienced it on several different Macs. It could be that
- too many sounds are queued, so the channel is full, but why is there no
- error? (Using bufferCmd.)

- The other, IIsi-specific problem, must be a hardware error. The cure to it
- is to raise the sound volume for a moment.
