  11. With regard to updates, the quick answer is "try it". If you are copying from
  12. an offscreen bitmap, it is probably fast enough, assuming you aren't trying
  13. for animation. If it is a lot of complicated lines and figures or computed
  14. pictures, you may want to do the more intelligent thing.

  16. No, the 15 (or 18?) new Inside Mac books are not all out yet.  Not by a long
  17. shot.  "Processes", "Files", and "Memory" have been out for a few months. I
  18. just saw "Toolbox Essentials" in the bookstore yesterday.  Since these things
  19. tend to come out in threes, I suspect there must be another couple volumes
  20. besides this also just out.
