- I've had this happen even with aliases created by the Finder's "Make Alias"
- menu command; it's not unique to some alias-creation tools. So far I've only
- seen it under System 7.0.1*, so I don't know whether it's been fixed in 7.1
- (though it's doubtful).

- Creating a new alias for the app seems to clear up the problem. Rebuilding the
- desktop may have some effect, too, though don't quote me on that. :-)
