- If you don't like the way sumex organizes things, don't use sumex. At
- mac.archive.umich.edu we have always organized things in much the way you
- suggest. We have a hierarchical directory structure that makes it easy to
- find exactly what you want. And if you CAN'T find what you want, you can
- always search our 800K descriptive index file, which is also available in a
- tab-delimited form for easy import into the database of your choice. We have
- between 50% more and twice as many files as sumex does (depending on how and
- what you count), including everything sumex has (except art, sounds, and
- quicktime).
