- As a member of both AOL and CI$, I can say they both have advantages.
- The main advantage of Compuserve is its "largeness." You can find almost
- any and everything on it if you look hard enough. The two drawbacks to
- CI$ is cost and "largeness". To be worthwhile, the $8.00/mo option
- doesn't seem to buy much. The $14/hr option buys quite a bit but there
- can still be extra charges. It's largeness is a problem because there is
- so much available, it's difficult to determine everything that is
- available.
-
- AOL on the other hand is a smaller service, virtually everything is
- available at the basic hourly rate, and there doesn't seem to be any
- extra charges.
-
- I end up using AOL for everything I possibly can and only use Compuserve
- when I need something not available on AOL.
