- About 2 years ago I purchased an accelerator-video card/full-page monitor package
- for my old SE/20. The display was great and the accelerator gave noticeably
- improved performance - but there were hardware problems. The card apparently took
- too much power from the SE which caused intermittant crashes (walk away from the
- Mac and after awhile it would do a restart on its own). Mobius admitted the problem
- and sent me a new card, which worked. Unforturnately there were also problems with
- the power supply failing on the monitor - they were pretty good about sending a
- replacement quickly, but the third time this happened I told them I wanted my money
- back. This was well after the expiration of the warrantee period, but after going
- through several levels of refusal they did issue me a full refund in exchange for
- the equipment.
-
- As I say, this was a couple years ago - don't know what their product is like now.
- My take was that they were a really responsive company, but had a lot of work to do
- on their product.
