- : Au contraire. There are several extension manager programs available
- : to do what you want. The one that comes to mind is called just that:
- : Extension Manager (v1.8 is the last version I've seen). Check the
- : usual FTP sites (SUMEX, WUARCHIVE, UMICH) for it and others like it.
- : Most even allow you to define sets of extensions, so you can activate
- : only those needed for a given task.

- : Hope this helps.

- Au contraire again,
-
- I believe the original poster wanted a way to ensure that a certain
- extension would be loaded no matter what.
-
- Any extension enabled or disabled by Extension Manager 1.8 can STILL be
- disabled on startup by holding down the shift key. Extension Manager
- does nothing more than move extensions in and out of the Extensions,
- Control Panels or Startup Items folders, it doesn't alter them in
- any other way.
