- I've had absolutely no trouble running my IW off of transformers in both Germany (220V)
- and the UK (240V). Both countries run 50Hz. "They" say running motors at the wrong
- frequency shortens their lives, however my 1984 Imagewriter I is still going strong
- after four years overseas.
