  13. I have a Mac IIsi and I recently encountered a problem during start-up.
  14. I turn my mac's power on and after the "Welcome to Macintosh" screen
  15. appears, the system hangs for about 10 minutes.  (Occasionally, the Hard
  16. Drive makes noise.)  Then, after the 10 minutes, the Finder loads normally.
  17. Everything is then fine, just as if nothing was wrong.  I've checked for
  18. viruses and anomolies, but have found none.  I've reinitalized my hard
  19. drive and reinstalled the system and the problem still persists.  I don't
  20. have ANY inits loded.

  22. Please help!!!  I'm desperate!  If you have any ideas as to what the problem
  23. might be please send me some mail.  Thank you in advance.

  28. PS: I've booted from a floppy and the same thing happens!
