- I've had my LC on since June - no problem. I shut it down during
- storms just to be sure (but there haven't really been any.) I
- sometimes need to restart for things like Appletalk and such.
- My reason is that I used to feel bad when I'd shut down after
- using it in the morning and then start it up again twice more
- during the day. I thought that I was decreasing the hard drive's
- life, so I just leave it on with the monitor off. It works quite
- well, but gets kinda hot.
