  12. Hi people...
  13. I just purchased a Quik30 Accelerator in the version 68030+68882 at 25 MHz
  14. for the Mac SE (HDFD) of my girlfriend. I put into it 16 Meg RAM and plugged
  15. the card. 
  16. Since the beginning I had problems with the software included with the card,
  17. but I thought it was init conflict and did not worry too much, letting my
  18. girlfriend found the right combination (it's she who uses the Mac, not me :-) )

  20. Well, after a couple of days she told me she had played with the software, with
  21. the following results:
  22.  
  23. - Mac bombed (error 11);
  24. - she had to get the finder from backup, as it was grown up to 3.5 Meg;
  25. - now the companion disk doesn't boot anymore (it was a system 6, while she
  26. uses System 7.0.0 in Italian);
  27. - the computer believes to have a 68020 (yes, neither a 68000 nor a 68030)
  28. without rcognizing the coprocessor.
  29. - the system sees 4 Meg RAM, while the motherboard has just 2, so that the card
  30. is seen (of course, without a 68030 I cannot use utilities to see all RAM as
  31. system)

  33. Any clues? please answer directly to me, as I don't read this newsgroup (my
  34. background is unix-oriented).
