  14. Hi,
  15.     I'm hoping to hear from those you have received their Powerbooks 180
  16. through the normal channels? How long did you have to wait?

  18. I have one on order from the beginning of November. As of December 23rd, I
  19. have still not received it. I am thinking of cancelling my order next week and
  20. waiting until the 185C is announced and ordering that instead. Especially
  21. since the 185C is supposed to be out 2Q93 and I may not receive my 180 until
  22. sometime in 1Q93 anyway. Also, since the 185C is supposed to use an industry
  23. standard VGA-like 640x480 active-matrix color panel, there could be less of a
  24. delay in getting that.

  26. (Last year I ordered my 170, now promised to someone, about the end of October
  27. and didn't receive one until the beginning of January.)

  29. However, I'm not sure I can do without a mac for 6 months. Advice please? (The
  30. danger is I could break down and buy a color 486SX notebook during the long
  31. wait.)
