  23. Directly, no, there's no way.  In FileMaker Pro 2.0, you can, however, set
  24. up a layout that displays your message in the Body, with no fields on the
  25. layout, and specify that FileMaker Pro go to that layout upon startup (in
  26. the preferences).  I usually place a button on that layout that sends people
  27. into Find mode, or, maybe in your case, into a layout that's being Viewed as
  28. List.
