- FileForce is basically a stripped down version of 4th Dimension. It does
- not support the full set of commands nor as robust a development
- environment. It was targeted at competing with FileMaker Pro. Also, there
- is no runtime version so each seat costs that same as the development
- version. There is also no compiler so you are always running interpreted.

- This may be fine for a small database application and if you outgrow
- FileForce, you can upgrade to 4th Dimension and not have to rewrite a
- single line of code. There is a converter application that converts
- FileForce to 4D.
