  13. I run expeditions into the sub-arctic.  Up to now I've kept my journals  
  14. in longhand.  However, I type much better than I write. I would like  
  15. advice on a lightweight laptop.  It only has to be able to run a word  
  16. processor.  But I am far away from the powerlines, so it must be able  
  17. to run for an hour a day for a month without a recharge, or a mountain  
  18. of batteries.

  20. I have a friend trying to sell me his Sinclair Z88.  Looking through  
  21. the specs, this is close to ideal. It's the size of a Byte magazine,  
  22. weighs only 2 lbs. It has a reasonable editor; it runs 20+ hours on 4  
  23. AA batteries, and you can change them on the fly.  It's keyboard is  
  24. quite usable, and as a bonus is somewhat water resistent. But his has  
  25. only 1 128K cartridge with it.

  27. 1.  Anyone know of a supplier for Z88 cartridges, preferably the 500K  
  28. or 1 MB size.
