- Hello,
- Someone asked me about the numeric keypad built into the IBM
- 700C. So here is a quick description of it:
-
- The keypad is the y-u-i-o,h-j-k-l,n-m-,-. area or there abouts
- on the keyboard. There is a special key combination that when
- pressed will turn that area into a 10 key type numeric keypad.
- Shift-Scroll lock or something like that. In this mode, you
- cannot type as the keys for the keypad area becomes the numeric
- keypad, but the other keys still works as before. [ this is the
- grey labelled area on the keyboard.] I have used this mode and
- it works fine especially if you do not want to tote an external
- numeric keypad with you.
-
- All in all still very happy with the 700C.
