- I am in the market for a SCSI adapter for my Model 70-121. I can live
- with a 16-bit card and bus-mastering and cacheing are nice, but I don't
- want to pay for them. Therefore, I've narrowed my search to these
- two cards:
-
- Trantor T-228 ($139 w/"software")
- Future Domain 600SVP ($159)
-
- Has anybody had any problems with either of these cards? I'm most interested
- in plugging in an external IBM read-write optical drive, but eventually
- perhaps additional hard disks, a CD-ROM, or a floptical diskette drive.
- ANY input on these cards (or alternatives which I've missed) would be
- greatly appreciated. By the way, I use OS/2, so I need to make sure
- the SCSI drivers would work OK with them as well.
