- I am a Mac user who is trying to run some hardware that insists on
- being attached by DMA to a PC type machine. I've got the programs to
- read the data and save it into a file in a nice format and I would
- like to graph and curve fit the data. On the Mac, my package of
- choice would be KaleidaGraph, but a call to the publisher reveals that
- no such tool exists in the DOS world.
-
- My current solution is to read the data over on the Mac via sneakerNet
- and use KGraph, but I'd (*gulp*) prefer a pure DOS solution.
-
- Can anyone suggest DOS software to read a numerical datafile, graph it
- and curve fit it with a general non-linear fits? It should display the
- fit over the data and provide the parameters. It has to be able to
- deal with custom formats and to be able to discard the first N lines of
- data and choose different delimeters. A crude programming language
- (like KGraph has) would be a BIG plus. A Windows package is also OK.
- I am willing to spend up to $500-600 on this, so please feel free to
- suggest expensive solutions.
-
- Thanks all in advance.
