- I have a 3 1/2 inch floppy drive on my PC that is not working properly.
- Recently, I have been unable to read disks on the B drive and whenever
- I try to inspect the directory of any of my 3 1/2 inch floppies,
- DOS 5.0 gives me the typical "General Failure" error . After I
- hit retry a few times and then finaly "F" for fail, I get the
- message "Fail on INT 24".
-
- Does anyone know specifically what interrupt 24 does? Drive B sometimes
- works for a day and then won't read anything for weeks.
